With the iPad 3G, I do not need a smartphone any more.

I will probably use the iWife's hand-me-downs. She has a 4S, I have a 3 GS.

It is the early adopters/tech geeks who are most likely to be turned.

iOS has become boring.

That sucks for us, but might be virtue for many many others. All of the people I know that left the iPhone fit the above categories. Everybody else seems to just stick with the platform. I am hoping that Apple overhauls the OS soon though, it is not good for the long-term for iOS to lose its cache.
