"With words, or did Zimmerman actually lay a hand on Trayvon?" According to Trayvon's girlfriend, he was shoved by Zimmermann. That is assault if it happened. Given Zimmermann's history, that is completely consistent with his behavior. He has a tendency to snap and assault people. He was worked up, based on the recordings. His statement about "f***king" whatever it was he said, shows it. When Trayvon ran, that probably made him madder. Not saying it was what happened. But it is consistent with the facts of the case.
