Been to Mt St Helen's 3x. 1st about 14 or 15 years after the event. We were living in our Incline Village home then. Then again later and after the 1st part of the road was in and after the 1st observation point was established. Again about 3 or 4 years ago with a Nam buddy who has a place on nearby Silver Lake. The views of destruction on the long drive from the i5 freeway are just about beyond belief. Millions and millions of trees felled by 600MPH winds. I consider it to be one of those places that everyone who has not been there should have on their bucket list.
