There is no question that Biden is prone to make material misstatements on a regular basis. IMHO it is highly unlikely that Obama was unaware of that prior to selecting him as his VP candidate. He needed Biden for gravitas and was not amicable with Hillary at the time. Obama advisors most likely made him aware of the propensity of people standing between Hillary and power to turn up dead. If he is even a fraction as intelligent as the liberal wet dreams about him claim he is, that means he knows the Secret Service would have a difficult time protecting him from an inside job. The liberal media will portray whatever decision or non-decision he makes as brilliant.
