Guns give people a sense that they are all powerful and that nothing can stop them. You think Zimmerman would have pursued a 6 foot young Black male if he did not have a gun on him? He knew well that the gun would save him no matter what. And he proved to be right. So yes, it is the gun that killed. Because if the gun was not there, a death would not have occurred. Just a injury and that would be it. Yep I have always felt the same way as well on this issue...Boggles my mind how backward in many ways our country still is
