Common descent, if true, is a powerful argument for ID. If nature could generate biochemical information encoding / decoding systems (languages iow), they'd have done so on earth numerous times and we'd see life with totally unrelated encoding systems around.

Yep, and the really interesting cutting edge stuff that is constantly tweaking and updating the underlying themes are immediately cut and pasted as support for some supposed falsification of "Darwinian evolution" as if they even know what that means. Of course at the same time the background chanting about Darwin's personal failings, atheist leanings, or other irrelavent topics simply illuminates the giant axe grinding that really drives the whole truth obfuscating agenda.

The most pathetic thing is the complete inability to discuss any of the topics or articles they cut and paste... And it's hilarious how very often these alleged "sources" quote statements or papers who's authors have reached the opposite, or completely different conclusions than what is reported by the supposed "source"!
