You have a very active imagination, don't you? Look, I realize it is a Republican talking point that the Democrats are closet Marxist, looking to drag the country down. But that isn't anywhere close to the truth. Your scenario won't happen for two reasons. Lobbyists and the Citizen United ruling. It takes a lot of money to run a campaign. Neither party is going to piss off those with deep pockets.
