>> difficult to lead when the opposition is deadset on removing you from office....can't compromise with political recalcitrants and intransigents.

Didn't stop George W. Bush.

In fact, I suspect every president back to 1800 had opposition who wanted him out.

The entire concept of "leadership" is about having the skills to get people to follow. If you cannot do that you are, de facto, a failed leader. Obama being a case in point -- he cannot even get his OWN party on board with him. In fact, some Democrat politicians have now come out against him for re-election.

Really, you need to take a couple of deep breaths, cut loose of your dogma, and ask yourself what this man has accomplished -- not only in the last 4 years, but throughout his life. Because it is damned unimpressive by any reasonable measure.

Had the Left been able to get Hillary to run, she would win in '12 going away. It would not be a close race. So, any intransigence is a result of having Obama and Reid, two incompetents, trying to make policy. Put someone up who knows WTF he's doing.

We know, for a fact, that Obama was elected as a puppet of Harry Reid. Reid told Obama up front he would put him in office if he ran, knowing that he was weak and could be led around by the nose. And that's precisely what has happened.

What a pitiful excuse for a failed President. Boohoo, he has political opponents. Wah. Everyone should just support whatever he wants. How dare Republicans even mount an opposition candidate.
