"TachLite can handle 13,300 I/O
operations per second across a 32-bit PCI bus, compared with 10,500 I/O operations/s
for the standard Tachyon."

Does anyone have information on how this might affect performance? I have ordered "Understanding I/O Subsystems" from Adaptec to get a better handle on this. I am really interested in getting maximum I/O figures for all commercially available processors and applications. Any idea if this data exists and where I can find it?
