I fully agree with you on every point, we're living in a dangerous time, this country is a box of dry tinder just waiting to ignite...

"I honestly think that the court and jury is well aware of what will happen, so I think they will attempt to compromise and convict Zimmerman on a lesser charge. I also think Trayvon's relatives will sue the Zimmerman family in civil court in a "wrongful death" lawsuit."

I agree with you that Trayvon's parents intend to file a civil suit. I think they will also go after the homeowners association since Zimmerman was their neighborhood watch person. I believe if Zimmerman is found to have acted in self-defense they would be barred from filing a civil suit against him under Florida law. I don't know if that would take the homeowners association off the hook. Another problem they would have is I don't suspect Zimmerman has much wealth to collect if they would win. The homeowners association looks like a better target.

I hope they televise the trial. Jury selection should be interesting. If I was being asked to serve on the jury, I would ask the court if they could guarantee that my life would not be in danger if the jury voted an acquittal.
