Why's HBlodget snuffin' around the edges of the securities industry? The StreetWalkers take care of their own...if they don't eat them, first.

He was a good soldier and pumped ML's trash dot bombs, then took the heat...

So, he's been 'taken care of'...for his silence and 'good works'.

IMO,
Of course.

And there's a passle of them...check out 'milk-em' Milken, banned forever? Piffle.

youtube.com
Two standing ovations after his indictment...and only 2 yrs in jail, after facing a total of 750+

and that was back when a billion bucks was a lot of money.

and now?...

He's a 'prince'...'we luv him'

youtube.com

and coincidentally, around 13:20 min in...he's pumping Facebook

If he's permanently banned from the securities industry, what is he doing writing articles about...

...the securities industry?
It's like in politics. Run them out of town, feathered and tarred on a rail, and five seconds later they're squeaky clean, getting megabucks for "consulting" for some "think tank" and lobbying for extra megabucks. Oh, and then there is the "invited speaker" circuit for more megabucks.

I think Twain wrote all about that, a few weeks or so ago: America has no use for history or memory. It's a rinse, lather and repeat kinda place.

History requires a world of time and bitter hard work when your "education" is no further advanced than the cat's; when you are merely stuffing yourself with a mixed-up mess of empty names and random incidents and elusive dates; which no one teaches you how to interpret, and which, uninterpreted, pay you not a farthing's value for your waste of time. - Twain
