Nothing more stupid comes to mind this very nanosecond than a parent holding up an iPad, up front, recoding their kid, blocking the rest of us.

My pet peeve:

You go to youtube and search for your favorite new band "live"

You get 5000 hits, 4990 of them are totally crappy dark, pixilated, sideways (turn your head sideways to view) videos made from the back row with heads and waitresses blocking your view and audio quality that approaches white noise.

All you have to do to find a decent ONE is go through 499 of them...

------

Talk about reverse marketing...

The bands that allow this are incredibly stupid... our local music newspaper/website includes youtube videos of bands playing in local clubs. Many of them haven't taken the time to have a friend do a decent video of them, or they include a crappy video made by an inept audience member. Considering the cost/hassle/down right insulting service many music clubs give paying customers, they are just shooting themselves in the feet.

and Google is just not getting it with search, we don't want thousands of hits we want accurate hits.

I can top that-- I was at Marine World watching the killer whale show with my kid and there were at least 3 people in the front row filming the show with iPads. Don't they realize they are in a splash zone?
