I posted about people I've read about. My only personal experience of such a couple was second hand ... this was 30+ years ago, I had a woman who worked for me, involved with a guy from an Arab country. Ultimately, she dropped him as she said she talked with women who'd married such guys and they warned not to ever travel with them back to their home country. They told her she'd be a defacto slave there. She'd even have problems leaving the country, they said.
