Very good, thanks, I'm looking into it today... is it as fast as Comcast typically is? TIA

EDIT: I already have their phone number, I'll talk with them today... I'll see what they can offer me, it's definitely cheaper than Comcast...

"If you are in the coverage area Clear Broadband is 4G wireless, unlimited usage, for $50 a month. I use it for back-up if my cable goes out. Laptop stays connected to it 24/7."

I am on a friend / business partner's family plan for $35/month with unlimited at T-Mobil. They throttle it back at 5GB but w haven't hit it yet... probably since we both have Satellite TV and wifi in our homes so even his kids don't bother watching videos on their phones. Unfortunately, it is not fast enough to be a hot spot at my house.

"Trading is like sailing. You always have to have a back-up plan."

Indeed! My backup is my ISP has a dialup we can access when the DSL is down. I had to use it for the first time in years last week. Some things like facebook use so much bandwidth the pages wouldn't load.

I just spoke with them, they do sound very inviting... but before I switch, another couple of questions, if I may... how long have you been with them? Have you had ANY problems or issues at all? Does the weather effect their signal reception? Would I notice a speed difference between Comcast which I currently have and Clear? Has their signal ever gone down, to the best of your knowledge?

Many thanks...
