Heg.

Neutral is b/t my pivot and break.
Bullish is above both.
Bearish is below both.

I created the break point and hence the neutral zone, so that I wouldn't be entering and exiting dozens of trades on 'false' signals when the index was floating above and below the pivot point (the original formula uses only a pivot point to determine bull / bear signals). Yesterday, my neutral zone was pretty tight, so this still happened (I was out of puts, back into puts, out of puts, then into calls yesterday). I can't help how tight my neutral zone is on certain days...it all comes from the data.

See ya.

Speaking of tight neutral zones, wait until you see my data for today!

SPX:
969.52
959.76
955.29
piv:950
945.53
940.24
930.48

Break point is 950.07 (.07 point neutral zone <<<g>>>). Above the pivot and break is bullsih (our current status). Below the pivot and break is bearish.

SPZ7:
973.90
962.90
957.30
piv:951.90
946.30
940.90
929.90

Break point is 953.47. Again our current status is that we're above both the pivot and break so we are in a bullish trend.

GDP just came in @ 3.3%. I read estimates of 3.5%-3.6% so this should be a positive surprise. Jobless number came in stronger than expected, but I don't think the will negate the impact of the good GDP report.

Durable Goods @ 10:00 this morning.

Good luck!
