Yeah, we need to open the equivalent of a 'drive thru express lane' in the justice system. There are plenty of offenders who just want to get it all over, and go do their time, instead of sitting in the county jail for a year. Lawyers would stop it ... since they get paid more for every appearance they make in court. They like cases that drag on forever, where they can appear 10 or more times, before the offender even enters a plea.
