If you're smack dab in the middle, you should be in the sweet spot.. When I took my clear mobile antenna with me and was within strong coverage, there were no problem.. I was just in an area of Boise, Idaho where it was just beyond BSU campus, and not really near any businesses or residences.. But I don't think I had to reboot the modem more than once a week or so.. Became a routine to get up, check the signal, and reboot when necessary before starting up my computer. But not that much of an issue. Good luck!! Hawk
