i have another major hope, i believe the 22 year old Galvis is a future all-star, be it at 2nd(i remind he NEVER played 2nd in his entire life until the last week of spring training this year) or SS: he has raised his average from .195 to 241 and has 21 rbis in his first 45 games(3 hrs even).
Oops Blanton, gone berserkers, Wiggington left bases loaded---6--0 went to 6-4--aargh.
later,Max

i watched the Cardinals broadcast, and they picked Freddy Galvis the Player of The Game. He is now batting 250(he's been hitting over 300 to get to that 250.)
And he now has 22 rbis. He is true 22, he won't be 23 until Novembee(i think). But this be no surprise, he was voted the #1 player in Phils minor league system last year.
Pabelbon has proven his worth--13 saves in 13 opportunities, what can you say.
Blanton and Kendricks can drive one crazy--you simply never know.
Carlos Beltran leads NL with 14 HRs, is 2nd with 39rbis and batting .304
Pujols, 4HRs 20rbis batting .213!--who would have guessed. Given our division being in last place NOT scary when you see we are only 4 games out.
But i have real worry that Howard may not be back--i am quite worried about how hush hush the emergency surgery to remove infected material from his foot---that means the tissue was getting necrotic, or was necrotic---they left a hole where there was flesh----so how deep the damage from actualy removig tissue that could NOT be touched by antibiotics--it means Howard was in danger of gangrene--their has been a lid of silence on what is going on.
i now think we just need Howard back, Galvis that good.
If Howard is really messed up, you can see a lawsuit from Phils against the surgeon--to actually carve and cut out tissue of an athlete foot is a drastic action--but all was whispers.
If we had Howard back NOW, we could move into first---what a loss.
We need Nix back. Later, Max
Go Sixers, beat Boston!!

Over 100 degrees on the field and Halladay lasted 2 innings. When will people, including Hallady add 2+2 and get 4! Instead i read people saying he is washed up, finished--idiots!!! He is pitch brilliantly except for a 90% Humid night game/ and in today's furnace in Atlanta(In those 2 games he gave up 12 runs in 8 innings). Knowing Halladay he did NOT take it easy and just relax and saturate himself with fluid--no--he has to work work work, mind over matter.
BYW, Kendrick LOVES heat--it was 95 and humid in his first complete game shutout in his career.
i guess next we will here Lee is now washed up because his has not won a game---media constantly gets hysterical.
My real worry is Howard---and NO ONE talks about it.Max
