Nope. Rs have starved the public school system and done everything to undermine it, and then cleverly try to blame the teacher's unions. If teacher's unions were effective, the average teacher would be making $9.6 million per year like the average CEO.........not the pittance that they do make. Teachers aren't CEOs. And CEOs are a special breed of humans? What makes K. Killinger who destroyed WAMU so special? In some places they are grossly over compensated for the work they do. Which places? But the statement that "Rs have "starved" the public school system" is just stupid. Do you have the slightest idea how much money we waste on the Dept of Education which serves no useful function, whatsoever? Much less than we waste on defense. Guaranteed!
