no, cpq doesn't have to be no 1 in every country to dominate.
I don't know what china will do.
but, it's not effecting sales.
if china was to take off...cpq wouldn't have any pcs to sell them too much over plan.

Freeus, actually Samsung lost market share in Asia/Pacific also. Acer and "other" took share from Compaq and Samsung. Samsung units shipped were up from the prior year, and Compaq's were down, but only by a measly 2,048 units, down 1.3%. This report doesn't bother me, as Samsung and Acer are on their home turf - they are expected to have the edge. Maybe CPQ diverted shipments to Europe/Americas. CPQ is winning in Europe, even over domestic box builders.
