I believe that HPQ and DELL as investments are pretty much comparable at this point. If you read HPQ announcement, they also have large underperforming divisions, like the consumer side of the Personal Systems Group and the whole Imaging and Printing Group.

DELL's balance sheet is still much better, but there is a risk that they spend cash on bad acquisitions.

I agree that HPQ may have some enterprise advantages, but a lot of their enterprise cachet has been squandered during the whole "what do we do with HP UX, Itanium, PA-RISC, etc." flopping.

TEO - Argentina Telecom, anyone following? Seems like a sell-off on fear that the government will buy it back.

Any opinion?
