Ali.. I guess the big question of exactly how much Rambus memory can speed up real world computer applications will remain unanswered for a while. While sounding simple on the surface, the "memory chain" is complex and involves a lot of different elements. The end result will only be as fast as it's slowest link. The entire computer industry needs faster memory, but the more I study Rambus the more I think that it will help, but probably won't match the hype. I can't see everybody in the industry paying royalty fees if they can find any way to avoid it. Time will tell. Thanks for your input.
