Five percent (5%) would vote for a third party candidate, while another five percent (5%) are undecided. Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). The candidates have been within two points of each other on 12 of the last 13 days. Obama has led on six of those 13 days, Romney on six, and they have been tied once. See tracking history. Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.” Seventy-two percent (72%) of American Adults think health insurance companies should be allowed to offer discounts to non-smokers. Sixty-three percent (63%) also believe insurance discounts should be allowed for those who exercise regularly, and 54% say the same for adults who eat a healthier diet. (President Obama’s Job Approval Ratings Below) A president’s Job Approval rating is one of the best indicators for assessing his chances of reelection. Typically, the president’s Job Approval rating on Election Day will be close to the share of the vote he receives. Currently, 49% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance. Fifty percent (50%) at least somewhat disapprove ( see trends). More than 40 Catholic organizations have filed a lawsuit against the president’s health care law. Most voters (51%) believe the religious groups should not be forced to provide services that violate their religious beliefs. Thirty-six percent (36%) take the opposite view. In his weekly syndicated column, Scott Rasmussen notes that politicians talking about "austerity" in budgets is just political cover for more government spending. But, he argues, “cutting government spending is seen by voters as a way to free more resources for the private sector. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove, giving him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13 ( see trends). During midterm elections, intensity of support can have a tremendous impact on turnout. That was demonstrated in 2010 when Republicans and unaffiliated voters turned out in large numbers to express opposition to the Obama administration’s policies. That is truly a scary thought. Teachers must be doing a poor job across the United States...that may explain why so many voters are stupid enough to re-elect someone as incompetent as Obama...

Worryingly, a US Dept of Homeland Security 'insider' recently told a Canadian paper that the Obama Administration is scheming (along with that heavily-politicized agency) to spark a Helter-Skelter-type race war in this country... only difference being it'll be the Bolshevik Boy Wonder -rather than Charlie- we'll be turning-to to lead us all 'Forward' through the ensuing apocalypse. Attempts at gun confiscation, curfews, and DHS checkpoints (they recently obtained the bulletproof booths) are what you can look forward to in this action-packed sequel to hopenchange. Now that a reckless prosecutor in the Trayvon Martin case has the progressive Left's street muscle all fired up, perhaps DHS staging a faux-Obama-assassination attempt (as the informant purports they're planning to do) could trigger the widespread rioting and looting throughout major US cities that Obama needs to inflict martial law and cancel the November election. But Axelrod won't be leaving that to chance: the source also speaks of persistent rumors that Louis Farrakhan in on the CIA payroll, and that he'll be utilized in rabble-rousing masses of blacks and Muslims -in concert loyal Obama allies like the New Black Panthers- 'by any means necessary'. Yeah, this particular DHS 'insider' reminds one of what you hear from the Ulsterman Report, which has delivered astounding revelations from a presidency in disarray over the last couple years. But interestingly, their anonymous ' White House Insider' recently said very similar things re pending US riots and subsequently cancelled elections, except the trigger in his view would be the likely Supreme Court defeat for ObamaCare, bringing a ' Summer of Healthcare Riots'. Keep in-mind that some think we are dangerously close to totalitarianism already, specifically due to the way Obama so flippantly questioned the relevance of the 'un-elected' SCOTUS in a shameful attempt to hector them whilst they contemplate the unconstitutional 'centerpiece' legislation of this vile regime. Either way, an increasingly desperate and radical White House -a Mafia-esque Chicago Machine wed with black 'Liberation Theology' and 1960s far-Left radicalism- is clearly jonesing for a crisis to exploit.... you know, the kind 'never allow to go to waste'. Looks like the guys building bunkers were right after all.
