It's all about perception and anticipation. So much of the dollar strength has already been factored in. Miners lead the way. I still think Spain goes down. Greece is already lost. The Euro was a poor experiment. Even though Europe is a geographic whole the cultures and languages are quite different. People in Greece, Spain, Italy etc. like to avoid taxes. So when they let them open a charge account they doubled down. Germany would sure like to cut them loose. "Currencies" are always a relative thing. So who is worse off? USA or Europe? That question is being answered as we type.
