Heh, well I don't know that about him, but it could be so. He's a typical liberal, distinguished mainly by his desire to worm his way into some semi-censor role for SI. Not just on poltical issues either, I recall once years ago running across him reporting on a post by jim_p, a now inactive poster who made some really good calls on energy stocks in years past. It was over some minor infraction which I've forgottten. I was struck by the underhanded way he did it ... on another board jim_p would likely not see and without mentioning his name ... just posting the link.
