In 2007,
Missouri placed on the ballot a
proposed constitutional amendment designating
English as the official language of
Missouri . In
November, 2008, nearly 90% voted in favor!
Thus, English became the official language for ALL
governmental activity in
Missouri . No
individual has the right to demand government
services in a language OTHER than English.

And that is the way it should be. Case in point, a friend of mine visited a Lowes Home Center near Dallas Tx recently. He said that at the door were two stacks of the weeks sales flyers. ...both stacks were in Spanish.....there were none in English. They could have run out, but TWO stacks left of Spanish? In Dallas? I bet there are over 50 different languages represented in Texas....why not flyers in all THOSE languages? He let the store manager know about it too.

Why not all the other languages? Because all the other folks are expected to know English, and to be honest, most of them would have it no other way as they know the advantages of speaking English.
