They already did attempt to portray border sales of US guns destroying Mexico. Something went wrong and the dialogue ended. It is a terrible thing when you get caught trying to manipulate a crisis. I don't think they have the hutzpa for another grand attempt. Unfortunately, the only people who care about that gunrunner thing is us active conservatives. The MSM doesn't give a damn about it, which means that the vast majority of people don't even have a clue that it happened. It may have been a swing and a miss, but there haven't been any meaning ramifications for their actions. Therefore no disincentive to try again. Besides, the have ACORN, SEIU, Moveon.org and various other progressive organizations to stir shit up. It doesn't need to come directly out of Obama's administration. Hell, the Trayvon Martin thing has the potential to turn into a powderkeg before the summer is over.
