It collects royalties from oil and gas whose costs get passed onto taxpayers and consumers in the U.S. and the money goes to dictators and tyrrants in third world countries to be used to buy arms and palaces for themselves. I don't think I'm interested. The U.S. Navy operates freely in international waters now and we don't need this treat to continue to do so. The whole treaty is a lie. I work for the U.S. Navy and am familiar with the regulations it must abide by at sea.
