Bill, what's the significance of a VIX buy??

As the market turned up today, I watched the trading volume increase on quality stocks. Hard to tell if it is accumulation for the year end rally, or distribution to set a short-term bottom. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the information. Could you give us some indication of the "duration" of the signal? (i.e., is the signal for a short term trade of a few days, intermediate term trade of a few weeks, or long-term for a number of months or more?)
