The Koch brothers are worth over 40 billion and still that is not enough for them. They work hard to crush unions without mercy, so they can get even more out of their coal mines.

Apple uses asian sweatshops when they could easily afford and insist on decent working conditions and a decent wage. Life should not be a a simple matter of what you can get away with, but what is the decent and honorable thing to do.

And we should all remember we are our brothers keeper.

No the society I have in mind is one where people are free to contract as they wish. The fallacy of your thinking is that you are projecting today's economy backwards and assuming that the kids who worked in sweatshops and under conditions we find oppressive today, had better alternatives. If they did don't you think they would have chosen them.

It is the free market that made it possible today to be counted among the poor and have a car, air conditioning, cell phones and multiple televisions, not your liberal ideas.
