According to the history books the rewards of printing money varies at each stage of the fiat money inflation game. I have no particular reason to doubt the teachings of history.

On the other hand it can be dangerous to prematurely suspect the power of any single central bank to destroy completely the society around which the bank is hubbed.

And, as long as all major central banks continue to work together, their combined strength should be able to destroy quite a bit. Out of all the destruction that can be, the middle class would prove to be one of the more fragile. As n when some material percentage of the middle class is done in, the process of destruction starts generating self-sustaining excess energy for more destruction.

That is my working premise.

Re printed money, yes, the folks nearer the source benefits, but only if they convert to non-paper along the way.

For the rest of us, we must convert what we can whenever we can, and at some astute moment, leverage; a delicate process.
