I try to review makeup once a month of my database. The Weekend review is good source but any EPS/RS >80 makes a good candidate. Brian K has a web site (don't have address near) with a 70/70 list and I am looking at each day's issue of IBD. And if not sure I always check before buy.

Idea is to reduce risk. I would rather cheat on EPS than RS.

I input a fresh version of Friday's IBD YWR every week. This is what I got from my BBB scan (scan with Q+ R1) for monday and tuesday.

BBB Scan I use-

Output="BBBlist.lst"
AllGroup
Vol(0)>AvgVol(0,-59) //3 month vol moving average
Close(0)/Close(-5)>1.05 //5% change in last 5 days
Close(0)>Max(-1,-250,cl)*.85 //highest closing price last year
Close(0)<50.1
Avgvol( 0 , -29 ) >= 500 // 50,000 shares average volume
