“Scientists are never wrong: are they?” The very point of Science is to improve on knowledge by finding where it is wrong or incomplete. It is your best bet, my boy. 13.7 billion years is not 100% accurate. It is only an approximation. The fact that the earth and the universe are billions of years apart in age is what matters in the discussion concerning whether the biblical claims in Genesis have any credibility. They only have credibility if all science is a forgery, if all knowledge of reality rests on fancy, and if pigs truly do fly.
