Not that I am comparing them, but Thomas Jefferson suffered from the same problem as did Abe Lincoln.

Point is that the easy ability to humanize oneself [whatever the hell that means, perhaps the writer thinks that Romney doesn't make enough trips to WalMart or some such] is irrelevant.

The best response to the opening of the absurd campaign by the Chicago Gang is a contribution to Romney which you can do here. The chorus of laughter at the shenanigans of Axelrod and his pals in the MSM won't be played back in prime time, but the sound of contributions is heard everywhere, but especially the White House.

Rush's reaction was, "So they're going to paint Romney as the most scary right-wing candidate since Barry Goldwater? Obama really is stuck 50 years in the past, isn't he? Nobody is scared of Goldwater these days. But please, please, go for it. It will rally all those Republicans who don't think Romney is conservative enough."
