Dave, thanks for your analyses on APCO's current stagnation. Please add general market disinterest in the small caps and the holiday week

I agree with that and would buy now, except: I believe that any real move up will be presaged by a few days of moving up and retracing. That, to me, is the buy signal. Like a prairie dog, this guy always seems to stick his head up and pull it back several times before advancing.

PS: Your mention of the 6 1/16 in your pessimistic (b) scenario makes me wonder: Do MMs have to wait on upticks before shorting, or are they exempt from the rule?
