I'm sure you recall that Clinton famously admitted he used pot but "didn't inhale". That's public record. As for Bush, he (also famously and repeatedly) refused to confirm or deny cocaine and pot use. He would only say that "when I was young and irresponsible, I was young and irresponsible." There are many links about this. Here are a few that provide further information. Bush quoted that he had not "used drugs for 7 years": news.bbc.co.uk washingtonpost.com Or admitting to Bill Bennet that he had smoked pot but "was very young": axcessnews.com Bush also had a huge drinking problem. To his great credit, he gave this up at age 40 as part of his turn towards God. And there are many more of such articles about Clinton and Bush and how they dealt with and sidestepped their past drug and booze use. A bit of googling will show them.
