"If I was head of apple those people would be working in safe conditions at a fair wage."

I don't know why you can't get it through your thick head......they are working in safe conditions at a fair wage. If they were paid more than the going rate, it would be considered unfair by all those who don't have the privilege of working for Foxconn. Surely you wouldn't want that.

>> You seem oblivious to basic human decency.

You are simply too funny.

Prove your human decency by hiring a housekeeper and a landscaper and pay them each $100,000 annually.

Anything less proves you are a cold hearted SOB allowing people to starve to death and live without basic human dignity.

How many housekeepers and landscapers do you have on your payroll?

Apple would be bankrupt in short order with captain Koan in charge.

So you are Ok with sweatshops?

Yes in certain circumstances. In a developing country, not far removed from the stone ages, what you call a sweatshop is a very good job. It is ridiculous to apply the standards of a rich developed society to third world countries. If you demand that they immediately meet the norms of the rich world, then you exclude the possibility of any jobs at all in those countries. They will develop thousands of years faster than the europeans did, but it cannot happen instantly. Grow up!
