Perhaps, but remember Obama is running a rally-the-base campaign. The Hail Mary pass is no good if it disgusts his leftist base and suppresses turnout. Obama's base would say he was just like Bush if he attacked Iran. Besides which, Iran is a big country, three times the size of Iraq! it's very risky. But maybe another NATO-led venture into Syria. I can see that.
