I can't see why it is necessary for a president to personally review the life stories of potential targets in a war. He ought to be dealing with these issues on the policy level, and leave specific actions to others. Is he the only person qualified to make such evaluations and decisions? Doesn't sound right.

all of his chest thumping

I see it as an act of desperation. He's starting to make rookie mistakes as are his rookie minions. The bad advice will only compound as they try to smooth over each mistake. The negative tidbits are starting to get some purchase in the MSM. Watching Jay, the press guy, squirm every day is pretty entertaining.

If the president being a stoner reaches all the way down to my 19 YO grandson, who doesn't pay any attention to what's going on in the world, then it's reaching everyone. I'll bet there's a lot more people who don't want a stoner representing them to the rest of the world than there are kids who think he's cool. And despite people trying to say that just because he did it then, doesn't mean he does it now, and it doesn't matter - he's now known as a stoner. It's one of those things that gets thrown up against the wall - and it sticks.

Both Yahoo and AOL featured Obama's Polish faux pas on their opening page. The ignorance of his statement offended a lot more than just the Poles. There's people out there who still repeat, "Never Forget," who are going to be annoyed with someone who didn't know in the first place. To say he "misspoke" is to insult the intelligence of the people who heard it.

His incompetence is on display every day with respect to his handling of the Middle East. The "Hit List" was an attempt to take the focus off of Syria and Iran and make it look like he's paying attention to the real threat - terrorists. Even people who don't pay attention to FP are aware of the threat of a nuclear Iran.

His supporters will continue to support him and think that having been a stoner in high school is a non-issue, as is saying he was born in Kenya to get scholarships and sell books. All lot of people are not going to care about those things, but killing people on an enemies list who are in a foreign land is going to get noticed. Some will think it's okay - Bush did it - but now Obama owns it. To be associated with assassinations isn't the good thing he thinks it is.
