You describe battle field conditions. That is not the conditions we are discussing.

We are talking about the President and a handful of advisors sitting in a room in the WH deciding an American Citizen is a traitor, by any criterion they choose, and ordering his death.

Here's the crazy thing. In most places where American soldiers are being shot at, what you describe is precluded by the rules of engagement.

Yet contrary to tradition the American President claims he can do what he forbids fired on soldiers to do.
