As a resident of Team USA, I'm not very interested in tradable citizenships. Americans can easily move to another state or region to seek economic opportunity or different weather.

I dealt with the 1970s inflation by going to college on cheap borrowed money in a low-cost state, and then moving to a high-wage state where I could earn a much higher income. All it cost me was airplane fare and 2 months of paying high rent before I got my first paycheck.

Oil has gone from $20 to $100 = 5 times. Gold from $300 to $1500 = 5 times. That's over the same period. So they are in keeping with each other.

That is an interesting observation!!..
