Harold

Feel the ice in my veins on CAFE. No emotion. Not sure if that is good or bad. Conversions can't go on forever. Anxious to move on though. Sticking it out. Win some and lose some (hopefully few on the minus). Tough to play these situations smart in terms of limiting downside - no room. Oh well, that's the name of the game in the other direction. We shall see!

Looks to me there are day trade opportunities in VLNT...still scares me though (getting caught holding the bag). Been dabbling. Like in/out in/out on this one even if must eat trading cost.

Richard

Hi Harold and Richard,

I'm guessing I got an in-house swap with Schwab. I guess someone wanted to buy and I wanted to sell.

CAFE spent a lot of time with ask = 1/16 today. Interestingly, no trades occured at 1/32. Lowest was at 3/64.

Richard, we'd all like to think the conversions can't go on forever, but here's a scenario you may not want to hear:

Company decides it needs more money to keep operating so the borrow from you-know-who. With no DCB (dead cat bounce) they announce a reverse split so they can keep shorting and converting. Maybe they increase the number of shares Cameron can convert (they've converted 6M out of 8M so far).

There's a lot I still don't understand regarding the conversion process. When we see those trades at 1/16 scrolling by, are the MMs sucking them up ? At some point, you think they would not take this stock, because they'll get stuck with it. Unless, of course, they thought some sort of payoff was going to occur ....

Regards,
Chris
