The chance that the Glass-Steagall act will restored under Romney is zero.

Totally agree..if Obama doesn't get it done in a second term maybe elect co presidents Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders? This country needs to get back to what worked in the post WW2 golden era

What I don't understand about those who support Romney is that he hasn't presented any plan on how he intends to revive the economy except that he will cut taxes and sit back and expect the economy to recover. Haven't we cut taxes since 2003? Have we seen the economy recover? However, we all remember how the economy moved ahead when the taxes were at levels under Clinton.

So yes, the world economy is in turmoil. We received bad news on China's PMI, the highest jobless rate in Europe, the increase in joblessness here etc. but we don't yet hear from Romney what he plans to do. He is pointing the nation towards where things have failed such as Solyndra. How about pointing towards those where things have succeeded. There surely are plenty of success stories or else we would have continued to see the loss of jobs we saw during Obama's first 100 days in office.

And lastly, I wonder how the Republicans say that the recovery is not fast enough when they were mum when the recovery was in a free fall.

Yeah, I responded to Ted on that. I agree. Not sure that I will vote for Romney. He is underwhelming.
