The "market" came back from the holiday in good spirits, and Tuesday spread around the holiday cheer. That was only good for 1 day however, and the next 3 days were all in the red with Friday really giving ground based on very poor economic news. WFR was the only one to buck the down trend and gained 3.0 percent for the day, and +8.2 percent for the week. VECO just managed to stay in the black with a 0.3 percent gain for the week.
