I don't know what the answers are, although I have opinions
That's not the impression that I got from your postings. As I read what your wrote, you seem to know all the answer, like Keynesianism ahould not be applied at all.

To me, there is no single approach that can solve all the problems. Not Adam Smith's, not Keynes, not Friedman or Klugman, but are some areas of each approach that are applicable for getting back on track. Yes, Keynesianism advocated to spend money for stimulating the economy, and especially repairing and building infrastructures so that commerce can move with lower cost, and at the same time create jobs to stimulate the economy, and that this approach can be used even though causing more of deficit spending, but compare that to Reagan's policy that tax cut creates jobs because people spennd more (really? - can Romney's drive more thatn two Cadillacs?). The deficit spending is real in creating jobs and more jobs, more revenues in for the govt. Should Keynesianm be permanent? Of course not.

So, if you just attack one policy because it is not a panacea, your are forgetting that depending the environment, the state of the economy, the need for increase in job growth, you might need a different solution. For example Keynesianism is not a solution to the banking problem. Restoring Glass-Steagall is. SO dismiss Keynesianism as all bad.

Have a good day. It is beautiful in my part of the world. I'll just enjoy what the Good Lord has provided my city with such a nice cool weather.
