OT - Nice dogs... and they didn't harm the turtle?

One of my best friends is a neighbors big golden retriever. He is a beautiful beast, looks much better than most retrievers on dog food ads, but he ain't too smart. I can't stop him from attacking cars and trucks when we go for a walk, which is almost every day.

We have more dog friends - a couple of labs, a jack russell, a pit and some others. We travel quite a lot and cannot keep dogs, but when we're home we feed them - and ended up befriending half the canine population of the neighborhood.

The days when I could just sit outside and read a book in peace are gone.... :)

Labs remind me of perpetually happy and hungry kids - they just want to play and eat anything good you happen to be eating.
