mooter775, thank you very much for the update.
It's encouraging to know that things are going
well with Valence. I am specially glad to learn
that the management is still confident about starting
production in Q1 98. I'll hang on there and probably
buy more if the stock drops futher.

By the way, do you know how they'll finance their
production in Q1 98?

Sorry for my poor English(second language).

Have a nice Thanksgiving.

Jian Liu

Mooter - Much appreciate your thorough summary of the present situation. I too get the sense that company management is confident about the near and long term, and I fully intend to stick with these folks. IMO, they've paid some major dues to get to production and are at last ready to reap the rewards.

Contributors to the thread - myself included - have been hopeful that the shares are moving into strong hands. Now, with several days of low market activity ahead of us, it would be nice to see the knowledgeable investors - who know this company's details and it's potential - on the case and ruling the show.

Mooter: Thanks for the info. We must be on similar wavelengths because the only thing I could see that might momentarily impact VLNC in a negative fashion was the lamination facility. Cal Reed, in the last conference call had stated that 1st qrtr production could possibly be pushed back a little IF they had/have any problems bring the lamination facility on line. I'd expect VLNC shares to take a negative hit should any commentary of that sort come out of VLNC, given the nervousness some speculators may be experiencing. Your post indicates they don't appear to have any major problems in that category so it appears that short of an act of God(or an economic act of Mankind), there's nothing that can stop VLNC from commercial production in the timeframes they've been quoting, or at the very worse, sometime in '98. This is good news.

As for the slip to the downside VLNC's experiencing these past few trading sessions.....profit taking, MM "massaging," major house reacting to their analytical tools signals, a blue moon.......who can tell. But if all is right in VLNC's world, it's clear these levels won't last too long so I'm acting accordingly when it hit's my "screaming buy" trigger points(and I'm having to wear ear plugs the screaming is so loud!!). ;-)

Regards!

John~
