I tried it very briefly via Parallels, and didn't care for it much. What Dvorak says seems to be right on the money. He says, essentially, that the idea of taking the unpopular Windows Phone OS, hoping that people will fall in love with it on tablets, and that they will then want to use it on their desktop computers in order to have a "unified experience" is nuts. Just another example of Ballmer's cluelessness, if you ask me. But who knows? W8 may end up being wildly successful, if only because it will be rammed down everyone's throat.
