So, you're saying we need to borrow more money and spend more money in order to get out of debt? Hmmm, now where did I hear that before? I don't know how to break the news to you, but it doesn't work that way, it hasn't in the past and it won't in the future... it's called Common Sense 101... repeating the same behavior again and again and expecting different results is lunacy...

Econ 101 says that leverage can be used to amplify returns but too much leverage will make you bankrupt!!!! If we borrow 10T more as you say we are well on our way to be Greece and Germany will not be able to bail us out. Although that will be great for my gold position that will hopefully make up for the battering of my stock portfolio in that scenario <g>
