All this discussion about different formats is very discouraging for the short term. You would think they would realize that this pie is big enough for all to benifit and would stick to the standard. But it just goes to show the ego's and greed that some of these companies, esp CC, have. The format that has the strongest position I think is still the current one. They were their first and have a substantial foothold with the current sales. And, unlike Microsoft vs Apple, there is a lot of competition and its all hardware. So we will see. Short term, this definately fogs the issue.
